This Privacy Policy explains how MiYo Gift collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, gift editor, published gift pages, optional paid features, support services, and related functionality.

In Simple Words

You can use MiYo Gift without creating a traditional account. We may assign an Account ID so core features can work across your use of the Service.
Creating, editing, previewing, and publishing personalized gifts is free. Optional Paid Features or Paid Benefits may require payment.
We process the gift content and media you choose to add so we can create, store, render, and deliver your gift.
Published gifts use private links. Anyone who obtains an unprotected link may be able to access the gift. Password protection is optional where available.
Personal gift pages are not intended for public search indexing. We use technical controls designed to keep them out of search indexes and to block known search and AI crawlers.
Optional AI-assisted features process only the information you choose to submit when you actively use those features.
Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. MiYo Gift does not store your full payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information or personal gift content.

1. Who We Are

MiYo Gift is a browser-based personalized digital gift service available at miyogift.com.

In this Policy, "MiYo Gift", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the Service.

MiYo Gift may assign an Account ID when you first use the Service. This identifier helps us maintain continuity for gifts, purchases, entitlements, settings, support, and other service functions without requiring traditional registration.

If you choose an optional sign-in method, we may receive basic account information from the sign-in provider, such as your email address, profile identifier, or other authentication information made available through that provider.

You do not need to provide an email address merely to begin creating or publishing a gift unless a specific feature requires one.

2.2 Gift Content and Media

When you create or edit a gift, we may process information you choose to provide, including:

text, messages, names, dates, and personal notes;
photos, images, videos, audio, music, and other uploaded files;
template selections, customization settings, and gift configuration;
optional password-protection settings; and
other information you choose to include in the gift.

Uploaded media may be stored in private object storage and accessed through temporary or otherwise protected delivery mechanisms when needed to display the gift.

2.3 Recipient and Delivery Information

If you use a feature that sends or schedules a gift link to another person, we may process the recipient information you provide, such as an email address, delivery time, gift link, and delivery status.

You are responsible for providing accurate recipient information and for having an appropriate basis to contact that person.

2.4 Optional AI-Assisted Features

MiYo Gift may offer optional AI-assisted features, such as text suggestions. These features run only when you actively choose to use them.

When you use such a feature, we may process the text, context, occasion, relationship information, tone, notes, or other information you submit for that request, together with technical identifiers needed to return the result to the correct gift or editing session.

Information submitted to an AI-assisted feature may be processed by the service providers we use to provide that feature. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or third-party information unless you are comfortable having it processed for the requested purpose and have the right to provide it.

We do not represent that MiYo Gift trains its own AI models on your personal gift content.

2.5 Payment and Purchase Information

Payments for optional Paid Features or Paid Benefits are handled by the third-party payment provider shown at checkout.

MiYo Gift does not store your full payment card number, CVV, or payment account password. We may receive and retain transaction information needed to confirm and manage purchases, such as:

transaction or payment reference;
payment provider;
payment status;
amount and currency;
discounts, taxes, or related checkout information;
purchase timestamp; and
Paid Benefits or entitlements associated with the transaction.

2.6 Support Information

If you contact us, we may process the information you provide in your request, such as your Account ID, email address if provided, screenshots, payment evidence, gift link, technical details, and the contents of your message.

2.7 Automatically Collected Technical and Usage Data

When you use MiYo Gift, we may collect technical and usage information needed for operation, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting, including:

IP address;
browser and device information;
operating system;
page or feature usage;
timestamps and referring information;
error, performance, and request logs;
session or analytics identifiers; and
security and anti-abuse signals.

2.8 Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and similar browser technologies for essential identity continuity, settings, optional sign-in, security, analytics, editor continuity, and other service functions.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

provide, maintain, and operate MiYo Gift;
create, edit, preview, publish, host, and deliver gifts;
maintain Account ID continuity and optional sign-in;
provide password protection and other access controls;
deliver private media securely when a gift is opened;
process optional AI-assisted requests you initiate;
manage purchases, Paid Benefits, refunds, and transaction records;
send scheduled gift links or other requested communications;
respond to support and privacy requests;
measure product usage and improve performance and reliability;
detect fraud, abuse, automated misuse, and security threats;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information or personal gift content.

We do not use your personal gift content as advertising inventory or intentionally make personal gift pages publicly searchable.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on one or more of the following:

Contract performance — to provide features or services you request;
Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse;
Consent — where required for optional analytics, cookies, communications, or other processing;
Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, payment, copyright, regulatory, or lawful-request requirements.

The specific legal basis may vary depending on the information, feature, and jurisdiction involved.

5. Gift Privacy and Access

MiYo Gift is designed around private digital gifts rather than public user profiles or publicly searchable gift pages.

Each published gift receives a unique private link.
If password protection is not enabled, anyone who obtains the link may be able to access the gift.
If password protection is enabled, a recipient must provide the correct password before accessing protected gift content.
You are responsible for sharing links and passwords carefully.
Recipients may be able to copy, save, screenshot, forward, or otherwise redistribute content they can legitimately access. MiYo Gift cannot fully control recipient behavior after access is granted.

Personal gift pages are intended to remain outside public discovery. We use technical controls designed to keep them out of search indexes and to block known search and AI crawlers. These controls reduce public discovery but cannot guarantee that no automated system or third party will ever obtain content through a shared link or other source.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate parts of MiYo Gift. Depending on the feature and current configuration, these providers may include infrastructure, storage, analytics, authentication, payment, email-delivery, security, and AI-service providers.

Examples may include:

Cloudflare — infrastructure, security, performance, routing, and private object storage or related delivery services;
Google — optional sign-in and/or analytics services where enabled;
Microsoft Clarity — product analytics or session-level experience analysis where enabled;
Umami — website or product analytics where enabled;
Payment processors — transaction processing for optional Paid Benefits;
Email-delivery providers — scheduled gift-link delivery and service communications; and
AI-service providers — processing only when you actively use an optional AI-assisted feature.

These providers process information under their own terms, privacy policies, and data-processing obligations. We use them only where reasonably necessary to provide, secure, measure, or support the Service.

7. User-Uploaded Content and Third-Party Rights

You retain ownership of the content you upload or enter into MiYo Gift.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights, permissions, licenses, and consents needed to use and share that content, including photos, portraits, videos, music, recordings, names, messages, and personal information relating to other people.

We may remove or restrict access to content if we receive a valid legal, copyright, privacy, abuse, or rights complaint, or if we reasonably believe the content violates our Terms or applicable law.

8. Platform Content

MiYo Gift may use original, licensed, royalty-free, stock, tool-assisted, or other lawfully sourced content in templates, sample gifts, marketing pages, and platform materials.

This does not apply to content uploaded by users. User Content remains the responsibility of the user who submitted it.

9. Storage, Security, and International Processing

MiYo Gift uses cloud and third-party infrastructure to operate the Service. Information may be stored or processed in different countries depending on infrastructure, storage, routing, payment, analytics, authentication, support, and other service providers.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Service, including encrypted network connections, access controls, private storage for uploaded media, and other security measures described on our Security & Privacy page.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, we will use legally recognized mechanisms or other appropriate protections.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service operation, security, support, payment administration, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention.

Retention periods vary by data type. For example:

Account ID and related service records may remain while needed to maintain continuity or associated gifts and purchases;
gift content may remain until you delete it or until it is otherwise removed according to product controls or legal requirements;
transaction records may be retained for payment, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes;
technical and security logs may be retained for a reasonable period needed for reliability, security, and investigation;
support records may be retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate service history.

Deletion of a gift or other data may not immediately remove every backup, log, transaction record, or legal record that must be retained for security, technical, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

access personal information we hold about you;
correct inaccurate information;
request deletion of certain information;
restrict or object to certain processing;
withdraw consent where processing depends on consent;
receive a portable copy of certain information; and
complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

You may also permanently delete eligible gift data using the controls available through MiYo Gift.
