This page explains how MiYo Gift protects its own content and platform materials, how we treat third-party and user-uploaded content, and how copyright concerns can be reported.

1. MiYo Gift Intellectual Property
MiYo Gift owns or licenses the materials used to operate and present the Service, including the website, gift editor, software, original text, branding, interface design, template arrangements, animations, visual compositions, and other creative platform materials.
These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, unfair competition, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Copyright protects original expression, not general ideas, concepts, methods, or functionality.
Unless we give prior written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, clone, sell, or commercially exploit MiYo Gift platform materials.
2. Plagiarism, Cloning, and Imitation
We reserve the right to act against unauthorized copying or imitation of MiYo Gift, including confusingly similar branding, template expression, page compositions, visual identity, copy, or software implementation.
Depending on the situation, we may send takedown requests, contact hosting providers, payment providers, search engines, marketplaces, or other platforms, or pursue other available remedies.

3. Third-Party and Licensed Content
MiYo Gift may use third-party or tool-assisted media in platform pages, templates, and sample gifts.
Images
Some images may be AI-generated or sourced from Unsplash under applicable license terms. Where attribution is required or appropriate, we aim to provide it.
Videos
Some videos, animations, page compositions, or edited media may be produced or arranged by MiYo Gift for templates, examples, or platform pages.
Music
Music used in templates or sample experiences may come from royalty-free, copyright-free, or otherwise licensed libraries. Credits are provided where applicable.
This section applies only to content provided, selected, arranged, or used by MiYo Gift. It does not guarantee the copyright status of content uploaded by users.
4. User-Uploaded Content
MiYo Gift allows users to upload or enter text, images, videos, music, names, dates, personal notes, and other content into gifts.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to upload, generate, publish, and share their content. This includes permission to use portraits, personal information, music, videos, photographs, and any third-party materials.
MiYo Gift does not routinely pre-screen user-uploaded content. We may remove or restrict content if we receive a valid copyright complaint, identify a violation, or believe action is necessary to protect the Service, users, recipients, or third parties.
5. AI-Generated Text
MiYo Gift may offer optional AI-assisted text generation in the gift editor. AI-generated text is created only when a user actively requests it and provides context for a text field.
Users are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated text before using it in a gift. MiYo Gift does not guarantee that AI-generated text is unique, accurate, suitable, or free from third-party claims. Do not use AI-generated text in a way that infringes copyright, publicity, privacy, trademark, or other rights.
6. Before Filing a Copyright Complaint
Before submitting a complaint, please consider:
- Ownership and authorization — Confirm that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Fair use or lawful exceptions — Some uses may be permitted under applicable law. If you are unsure, consider seeking legal advice.
- Specific location — We need the exact URL or enough information to locate the allegedly infringing material.
- Privacy — Copyright notices may require personal contact information. You may use an authorized agent if you do not want to provide your own details directly.
7. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on MiYo Gift infringes your copyright, contact us at:

- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content on MiYo Gift;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law;

We will review the complaint and may remove or restrict access to the content, contact the user, request more information, or take other appropriate action.
8. DMCA Notices and Counter-Notifications
If the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) applies to your complaint, your notice should include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), including the elements listed in Section 7.
If your content was removed because of a DMCA complaint and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification should include:
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal;
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification;
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court if required by the DMCA;
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the complainant or the complainant's agent if required by the DMCA;
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Filing a knowingly false copyright complaint or counter-notification may create legal liability.
9. Repeat Infringer Policy
MiYo Gift may suspend or terminate accounts, gifts, or access for users who repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly submit content that violates third-party rights. We reserve discretion to determine what constitutes repeat infringement based on the facts available to us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
